THE STORY

Hi. My name is Joseph. Having seven dogs will teach you a few things

Five beagles — O’Ryan, Midas, Mocha, Spot, and Bo. A golden retriever named Duke. And Ziggy, a miniature long-haired dachshund who has no idea he’s small.

If you have one dog, you know the weekly walk-the-yard routine. Multiply that by seven and it stops being a chore and becomes a schedule. I’ve been doing this in my own back yard for years, in every kind of Kentucky weather, and I got efficient at it out of pure self-defense.

I looked around to see if someone could help me with it so I could get some of my time back. To my surprise, I could not. I figured if I was looking for help, maybe other people were too.

So that’s Scooper Heroes. Same job I was already doing, now for people who’d rather spend their Saturday on something else.

WHY LOCAL MATTERS

You get me, not a dispatch center

The big pet waste companies are franchises. You call a national number, an operator books your yard into a route, and whoever’s assigned that week shows up. If something goes wrong, you’re explaining it to someone three states away who’s never seen your gate.

We’re based in Danville. When you call, you get me.

That’s not a marketing position. It’s just what a one-vehicle local business is.

HOW WE WORK

The things that actually matter

We show up the same day every week. You shouldn’t have to wonder.

We check the gate and send you a photo. Every visit. The single worst thing a service like this can do is leave a gate open, and a photo means neither of us has to remember.

We sanitize between properties. Tools and boots get disinfected before we walk into the next yard. Parvo and giardia travel on equipment, and with seven dogs at home I’m not casual about it.

Your price doesn’t go up. The rate you start at is the rate you keep for as long as you’re a customer.

We’re in Danville, and we serve Junction City, Perryville, Stanford, Lancaster, Harrodsburg, Lexington and the surrounding parts of Boyle, Lincoln, Garrard, Fayette, and Mercer counties.
